• Synopsis: Based on the novel by Oscar Wilde, Dorian Gray tells the story of a naïve young man arriving in Victorian London where he is quickly swept into a social whirlwind by the charismatic Lord Wotton. Wotton soon corrupts Dorian by introducing him to the pleasures of the city. Wotton’s friend, Basil Hallward, offers to paint a portrait of Dorian to capture his youthful beauty. When the painting is unveiled, Dorian is so dazzled by it that he makes a flippant pledge: he would give anything to stay as he is in the picture - even his soul.
